Abstract

Within the HAB (High Altitude Balloon) community there is not a standard that will allow teams to readily share hardware designs between teams developing in different parts of the world. In working with University of Iowa it became necessary to design a standard that University of Iowa can design to that we can simply drop into Iowa State's stack and not have to be aware of how their system works. This means that several customers can be on the same hardware stack and resources will be handled to prevent conflicts on the single processor. Unlike PC104/CubeSat standard this will allow the use of cheap off the shelf components and is not limited by size requirements.
