Cattle Feeding Benchmark Data: Fall & Winter 2016 Spring & Summer 2017
Abstract
The breakeven value in fed cattle prices seems to have stabilized and become considerably lower than what was observed in last year’s summary due primarily to lower feeder calf prices and a continued slight downward trend in feed prices. The number of heifers on feed relative to steers has also increased from previous reports.
