Abstract
Institutional data from 2022 demonstrated notable health disparities between white students and students of color across multiple dimensions of well-being, including feelings of belonging and safety, access to culturally relevant support resources, basic needs security, and more. Join the Iowa State University Student Wellness team for a discussion and exploration of the impact of race and ethnicity on well-being and identify relevant ISU resources and barriers to obtaining inclusive and equitable care. There will be open discussion in each of the areas of violence prevention; food, mind, and body relationships; substance use recovery initiatives; mental health; public health; and hunger and food precarity.
