A Conceptual Framework for Post-postmodern Garment Design

Abstract

Using post-postmodern theories of altermodernism and performatism, a framework for creating a garment that transcends cultural codes and discards traditional categories such as sex and gender is developed.  A jacket design using this framework is created.
