Deer Autumn
- Betsy Henderson (University of Minnesota)
Abstract
Deer Autumn was designed to produce three silhouettes with style lines that are continuous when viewed from the front, side, and back. Three different leather weights were used. The bodice, collar stand, and upper sleeves are of coat weight to provide a molded appearance without the use of support materials. The skirt and lower sleeves are made of garment weight to allow for the drapeability required for the side folds and back godet. Glove weight provides a soft collar.
