Lady in Red
- Darcy Law (Drexel University)
Abstract
Spontaneously draping this designer level evening dress in actual fabric introduced a new approach to design and creativity. The idea of constructing a dress out of its original fabric with only one chance to do it created a problem which we were given to solve. Instructed to purchase 5 yards of a specific red fabric, mine being rayon matte jersey, I went to work and began to problem solve.
