Bridal Veil Falls
- Carolyn Schactler (Central Washington University)
Abstract
The hand-beaded strings that hang down the back of this delicate pink gown represent the water of the Bridal Veil Falls as it cascades over the rock ledges in the Columbia River Gorge. Designed for the petite market, the waistline seam is settled three inches below the true waistline, creating the illusion of a longer waist.
