Abstract

The purpose of this study was to include field visits to the museum to enhance the student learning process and to involve them in an enriching experience beyond the classroom. The project had evolved from an inspiration of the artist's work. Students were asked to create a mural on canvas inspired by the artist. The project reinforced their concepts on textiles. As fashion students studying textiles this also provided a platform to showcase their creativity.
