Garment workers' rights are women's rights: Suggestions for future studies on support for socially responsible businesses
Abstract
Globally, 80% of garment workers are women. This conceptual paper proposes that future research studies frame garment workers' rights as women's rights as a way to increase support for socially responsible businesses. The proposition is based on current literature and the construal-level theory of psychological distance.
