Abstract

This research demonstrates the potential of 3D CLO as a versatile design tool, enabling unlimited color and material options, easy pattern transformations, and immediate reflection of modifications, particularly in designing special occasion dresses. Focusing on realistic material representation, the research explores the use of 3D CLO to express delicate materials like tulle, lace, and beading. Additionally, the study proposes a method to build virtual backgrounds using 3D CLO. The integration of these elements provides designers with a comprehensive toolset for creating and showcasing special occasion dresses in a virtual environment. This study's academic significance lies in its emphasis on beading and lace texture expression using 3D CLO, along with the incorporation of background elements. The findings suggest practical applications for expanding 3D CLO as a design tool and provide foundational material for efficient virtual lookbook production methods.
