Hunting Jacket

Abstract

Exploring the idea of journeying through life like a stag deer, wandering alone, hunting for a purpose while simultaneously being hunted, lead me to the creation of this jacket. The strong lines of this classic silhouette, patterned using both drape and flat patterning techniques, combined with the sturdy cotton plaid and leather details give an outward appearance of strength and masculinity while the shearling lining caresses the wearer in a blanket of warmth and comfort.
