Abstract
With the exception of Mississippi the land snail fauna of Georgia has been the poorest known of any state in the eastern United States. Previously published records have been largely confined to the mountains of northern Georgia, with a few from the Atlantic Coastal Plain. The Piedmont has been largely unknown . The records reported here were made by the author while residing for short periods in Augusta, Savannah, and Atlanta, Georgia, and in Jacksonville, Florida. Most of the State was covered except the Gulf Coastal Plain which is still largely unknown.
